That's not to say I can't appreciate the more discrete and less obvious side of jewelry too. Lucky for me however, this season is mine and my favorites are making a comeback! And a word of advice for jewelry- its about accessorizing YOU and expressing who you are. So don't let the magazines or the accessory counters or the blogs ( OK maybe mine but I'm legit) define you. When it comes to necklaces I'm faithful to my single strand of pearls. They will NEVER die. But on a trip to Italy in 2006 I found these adorable Fendi charms in Rome:
I got an "i' for my name and while in New York last year I got an "a" charm for my daughters name at the fifth ave Fendi. It's kind of a tradition now and I always get complimented on them. They have every letter and they attach to any chain. Best part is the charms are only $20 !

Look, with rings I'd wear a ring on every finger, no joke. One is never enough. How happy was I when I found my first two finger ring a few years ago. Shocker- they're all the rave. A few years ago I met an L.A. based designer by the name of Melody Ehsani at a fashion trade show here in Las Vegas. Her pieces were fabulous and she has since grown into an amazing brand of jewelry and shoes. I first saw the multi finger rings here and they are unlike anything you'll find in stores.
