BEST:
Sharon stone in Christian Dior
I mean, its Sharon Stone. Maybe its because I just saw Casino for the first time in its entirely this week but I thought she BROUGHT IT and owned it. The gown is to die for. Her hair was an event in itself and she just looked A MA ZING. Timeless glam. PS I want to look like this, at her age.
Michelle williams in Chanel
Hello, it's Chanel. Need I say more. Such an Audrey Hepburn moment. So elegant, loves.
Hillary swank in gucci
The minute the camera hit this gown I knew it would be my favorite. Hi, the sequins are one thing but add the feathers and it's a no brainer. I'm not crazy about her slick up do but I noticed it was a trend last night. I'm enjoy less harsh more disheveled hair or pretty blow outs but I suppose it gave all the attention to the dress, which it deserved.
HONORABLE MENTIONS:
penelope cruz in L'wren Scott
She is out of control beautiful ,as always, and even more so having JUST had twins. She also has a uuber beautiful baby daddy so shes a winner all around. YAY for hot mommys. The dress was stunning and she shined in it.
Jennifer Lawrence in Calvin Klien
I'm SUCH a fan of these sleek simple cuts in neutral colors this award season. It falls perfectly on her, and her hair and makeup are flawless. super chic.
NOT MY FAVORITE:
melissa leo in marc bouwer
Um, someone tell her she looks like a doily, thanks.
jennifer hudson in versace
We get it, you're all about weight watchers and you're the biggest loser success story right now. That doesn't mean you don't need boob support and arm toning. UGH. So. Not. Flattering on her.
Nicole kidman in Dior Couture
Where do I begin- The look was "origami inspired". I say- one should never be inspired by folded paper. She resembles a Christmas tree angel and what's with the orange peep toe. I just really didn't get it. yick.
And thats how its done :) enjoy! xoxo , style lush
