cream, behind the scenes

Lots of fun on Sunday working with the team on a new series for photographer Zack Williams.  Always impressive concepts, this was no exception.  Zack's vision was inspired by fashion photographer legend Helmut Newton.  His androgynous sultry dark and romantic images were amazing to get immersed in and we had an amazing time on set.  Models Sara Marie and Ashley Liberty did work and as always Bri turned it out in hair and makeup.  Can't wait for the next installment of this series.  Yay team!

Some of my favorite Helmut Newton images that inspired me in styling this shoot:

Some behind the scenes of the day:

Ashley's Look 1
vintage leotard/ vintage silk blazer
vintage rolex/earings by h&m/ stylists (my) own glasses

packing light for small spaces, but loving every minute

Sara look 2
Lace corset Victoria's secret (vintage), silk vintage pencil skirt, jeweled leather gloves by h&m, stylists own pears, lace mask made by stylist

Wet, (hint hint) cold models after looks 3 and 4 stay tuned!!

That's a wrap,
me and Zack finally heading home!!

It must be said that I was told before this shoot to make sure that I pull things that could be wet and .. spilled on.  I decided to make this a thrift store shoot, so I complied just about everything from vintage racks.  I was so happy with every look and every piece that I fully intend on doing other shoots like this because it gave the looks such a genuine unique and authentic feel.  I loved it !  Will post edits soon

workin on my fitness

What an amazing day for stylelush! I was so happy when fitness model/competitor Stephanie Brewster asked me to style her promo material for her upcoming Fitness America Championships.  I had never done fitness before so it was a great learning experience and a pleasure to work with her and fitness fashion photographer Harry Grigsby.  We turned it out and combined glam and fitness for some amazing images--  here are some behind the scenes of the team on location today -- stay tuned for final edits and I can't wait to see which ones get published !!

enjoy! xoxo stylelush.

breaking dawn deuces black carpet!

the Twilight mafia were in full force tonight at the Nokia theater LA for the premiere of Breaking Dawn Part Deux.   Obvi I had to obsess over the black carpet -- enjoy!

Kristen Stewart dazzled in a barely there sheer Zuhair Murad and Jimmy Choo heels.
I'm adoring everything about this look, so amaze!! And R Patt is looked dapper in his forest green ensemble.

Ashley Green in custom Donna Karan and Giuseppe Zanotti heels

Nikki Reed in Versace

Loving it !

Elizabeth Reaser in Carolina Herrera and Christian Louboutin heels
Holy hotness!

Dakota Fanning in Elie Saab Fall/Winter 2012 (and new dark hair !!)

Elle Fanning in Prada, head to platform toe.

Taylor Lautner in Z Zegna

My favorite Cullen, Kellan Lutz

Peter Facinelli

Everyone looked gorg but I must say Kristen gets the best dressed for me.  The gold was amazing, the sheer was just enough and her hair and makeup was perfection.  So Hollywood glam.  Ashley Greene comes in a close second -- love the blush color and the tier texture of her gown.  I cannot wait to see them all on the big screen for the final installment of Twilight next week.   I wish it would never end!
